Privacy Policy

Ragus · Last updated 7 September 2026

Ragus lets you record what you eat by describing it in your own words. To do that it has to store what you tell it, and send your description to an AI service that turns it into nutrition figures. This page explains exactly what is kept, where it goes, and how to delete all of it.

What we collect

That is the whole list. There are no advertising identifiers, no analytics or tracking software of any kind in the app, and no location data.

Voice

If you log by speaking, your speech is transcribed by Apple's speech recognition built into iOS, which may process the audio on Apple's servers. That is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not this one. Ragus receives only the resulting text; we never store or transmit audio recordings.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or give it to anyone for any purpose beyond running the app.

How it is protected

All traffic between the app and the server is encrypted with TLS. Every request must carry a valid sign-in token, and every database query is filtered to your own account, so one person's data cannot be returned to another.

Deleting everything

Open the You tab and choose Delete account. This permanently removes every meal and activity you have logged, all of your weigh-ins, your goal, your profile, and the sign-in itself. It cannot be undone and nothing is retained afterwards.

Text you previously logged will already have been processed by Anthropic; their retention of API data is governed by their own policies.

Children

Ragus is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or who receives it, the date at the top of this page will change and the new version will be published here.
